Bungie can't even resist chopping up the DLC?!?!? Are you serious?
So they chop up the original game so they can sell them as DLC and now they are chopping up the DLC so they can encourage blind impatient fanboys into Pre-Ordering the damn thing.
Its like some kind of cosmic sized joke. I am waiting for Deej and Bungie to come out and say "GOTCHA! Here is the real game guys with the real storyline intact! Enjoy!"
I was dumb enough to pre-order your game and its season pass and you served up a steaming pile. But now you are gonna ask me to pre-order your [b][i]$40[/i][/b] "expansion"?

Normally I would make a huge thread talking about how shady and pathetic this move is and how big of a joke this game has become but I think in this case the majority of the community can see whats going on. They just keep milking and milking, taking and taking.
I just don't know what else to say than are you serious Bungie?
You guys remember any of this?
- "Rich cinematic storytelling"
- "Periodic PvE and PvP oriented events"
- "Explore the solar system"
- "See that over there?...."
- "Make your guardian unique"

4 RepliesBest I can tell the game should have been delayed due to things not being finished but Activision said no ship what currently works. But with many games the DLC will be done before the game's release date.

2 RepliesIts there product they can charge whatever and whenever. They never force anyone to buy anything its a choice. If this game isnt in your price range then play something else. GTA sells online credit cards for fake game money for $100. Every company need to make there profits. The amount of time played on destiny is well worth the prices they charge. Just to rent a 2 hr movie on comcast costs $10 for a 24hr rental i know for sure you will put much more time into the TTK.

Yea, time to take a year or 2 off from destiny. See if they get their shit together. No big deal, got a ton of hours into it. Can't continue the addiction when it's no longer fun/entertaining though so i'm out when ttk is released. Fun while it was fun??......that even make sense? I think y'all know what i mean.

I got carried through the vault of glass for the first time last week and I was blown away by the thought of all those guardians going in and trying to figure out what the hell is going on. It took us a little over an hour to do it. All of those hours spent in trial and error... I can't truly appreciate what it took to figure it out. My point is that those 5 guys I played with are just 5 of thousands upon thousands that will get this dlc. I will too.

Well I've spent a little over a 1000 hours on destiny which is around 42 days so spending $60+$30 for both dlcs+$40 for ttk=$130. That's not bad for 42 days. It just depends on how much you like/play the game...nobody is forcing you to buy it.

I think your expectations for video games are too high. 3 years ago most console fps games didn't even have a co op campaign. I didn't play one game for more than a month or 2 at a time. Bungie has given me something with replay ability that's not exclusively pvp, and for that I am grateful

I personally think that Bungie had done a fantastic job with the game. Something that's this massive is of course going to have its problems. I think that most people can agree destiny is lime a drug, it's [i]addicting[/i]. No other game has caused me to be as hooked as I am, I've spent more time on this game than any other honestly.

11 RepliesIt's a damn video game! You're acting like you bought a 4 bedroom house but got a studio. I bought the game not because of what was promised, but because it looked cool. I have been disappointed by games before (every cod after BO2) but I don't cry about it. Just stopped playing. I swear this community is a bunch of babies. STOP PLAYING if it sucks so much. Stop coming on the forums. Stop trying to find ways to bash. Just stop.

Regardless of what destiny was supposed to be, and it is upsetting, its a damn good shooter I keep coming back to. I don't feel I've wasted money considering the hours I've clocked.
