I just wish I was there to enter VOG as a full team of people that haven't been there before. I wish I could've witnessed so many people not knowing where to go/do etc.

I've never had the first raid team experience. Gonna try to make it happen if the new raid and expansion looks good.

No you really don't. The first time I saw it was with five randoms and we had never dropped into VOG. That time was an epic pain in the rear, but the six of us are still friends and run together. I guess if you can survive that long as a group and not rage quit after wiping for what had to be the 8,000th time,. you have found a good group.
