You do know that the encounter scales up a bit the higher your armor rating is right?
It was a pain the 1st few times as 29 but as with anything it gets easier.
Long live the VoG. It's still the best end game experience destiny has to offer. Too bad they shot their wad on it.

No, but after doing Crota it turns out you deal more damage the higher your level, nighthawk wouldn't take Crota down when I was 33, but did when I was 34.

Only up to three levels higher though. Crota is level 34 I believe. So if you get to 37 in the next dlc he'll be even easier.

Crota normal is 32, hard is 33.
