I would be the kid that no one is sure about. That one that acts weirdly and is completely unpredictable in a conversation.
Get to know me, and you'll earn a loyal friend who will catch you off guard with bizarre and unexpected lines that are somehow funny
Seeing as I just finished college, this is still true
Pretty much me. Just add nerdiness and you have me
-
Oh I'm a nerd too, I just didn't bring it up
-
This is what college taught you? You should demand a refund.
-
I'm good. It got me an apprenticeship in haematology (blood science) which I'm starting in September
-
What was your thesis about?
-
Not entirely sure what you mean. I'm English though so that might be why. As for my subject; Btec in medical science (basically we get assignments on different topics within the field and are graded either pass (C grade), merit (B grade) or distinction (A grade). No exams or big, grade-defining essays. Just a lot of smaller ones)

Edited by SPAWNCUTTER: 7/28/2015 5:13:07 PMMost people have to write a thesis to get a masters degree which is a college diploma. Are you sure you went to college? Or just a trade school?
-
No it was a college. But it only did A-levels and Btecs. Are you britsh? If not then there might be some confusion due to different education systems

What is your goal to accomplish in being a hematologist?
-
To work in the healthcare industry. Where I live in England, there is currently a lack of young people applying for the NHS and working in the haematology section is a job I understand, enjoy and ultimately want have as my career. Even I don't get a job offer at the end of the apprenticeship, it shows I have been trained in that area and can apply at other hospitals.
-
So as a hematologist you just want to be in the medical field?. No goals of healing people or finding cures for things like hiv or diabetes? You may want to consider a different field.
-
I may move into that field further down the line, I'm unsure right now but I know I can start to specialise in those areas further down the line
-
It seems youre just lying about it.
-
Well I'm not. If I was lying, I would not have been as specific, nor would I have bothered to keep up this conversation for this long. I can assure you that I am doing the apprenticeship. To be even more specific, I will be doing said apprenticeship in the QEQM (Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother) hospital in Margate

Dude, you didnt even understand my question of what your thesis was on. Any english speaking country knows what a thesis is.
-
Edited by Alkac: 7/28/2015 6:08:36 PMEnglish colleges don't always do a thesis. Some might do, but most don't. Your usual options are A-levels (coursework and exams), IB (not sure what that is. It involves languages though) or Btec, which as I said earlyer is multiple assignments on multiple topics in a certain field. Plus I'd genuinely never heard of a thesis before OR I did but forgot it
-
You are a college educated Englishman? Look at how you speak. Some might do? Btec, which I said earlyer? Based on your writing, one can say England is a very poorly educated people.
