The problem is Bungie wants to make the game more challenging. If they just increase the health of Bosses, we'll have the same issue we had with Skokas in the beginning; Gjallarhorn becomes a requirement because without it, it's almost impossible to manage.
On the other hand, nerfing the best PvE gun in game is simply stupid.
A better solution would have been more complex mechanics of Bosses.
However, the nerf is incoming and I hope it won't hit Gjallarhorn too hard because I love this gun. :)
