In the distant Tundra, white hares sprint past the surrounding frost-covered pine trees, and a small snow fox pursues them. It pauses, though, and takes a long gaze at you with beady black eyes before continuing the chase through snow-dusted bushes.

"I could eat you guys....but you're lucky I just had lunch". I brought my Collapsible hunting bow and arrows just in case I was in the mood. But I also packed a lot of food in my bag. Snow hiking is great.

As you travel deeper through the trees, a mechanical squelching and buzzing is heard in the distance, and a small walker mech painted in winter camouflage lumbers out from behind dense foliage. A bearded man in a heavy fur jacket and beanie pilots it, standing upright from atop the walker's open cockpit, one hand gripping a Mosman HR3K rifle in one hand and operating the mech with the other. He peers around, in search of something. He is unaware of you.

He then perks up as he sees something in the distant forest. "Here we go..." he breathes, and halts the walker before aiming down the ACOG-2 scope on his rifle. He lets out a deep breath, a small cloud of steam billowing from his lips. He holds his breath, steadying a shot.

You peer over the surrounding foliage to see an elk amongst the distant tree trunks, munching on weeds. It doesn't notice the hunter before he fires his rifle, piercing the elk's head with a single bullet. It slumps over, dead right after you saw it alive. "Gotcha." the hunter says, and drives the walker towards the elk's corpse.

((It's not an automated walker, it's piloted.))

((Oh...well in that case.))
