I have always wondered one thing about the canon. If Halo: The Fall of Reach is/was canon and Halo: Reach is canon. Then who is really canon? Because Halo: Reach destroys the ending to The Fall of Reach. So did Bungie override that canon with Halo: Reach or what?

  • They're both canon. Inconsistencies we are perceiving are the result of us, the fanbase, not having the proper information to make sense of it. It's been stated before that Bungie worked very closely with Eric Nylund to ensure the story of Halo: Reach fit in with what occurred in The Fall of Reach. Why they kept most of those interconnecting details from us, I don't know.

  • Really? I had absolutely no idea they worked with Nylund on it.
