So if you have the current black hammer and the new poe sniper rifle which one would you use? Black hammer right? Then what was the point in bungie making the new sniper rifle if the old one was better anyway? Now with ttk coming up don't you think there will be new weapons? That bungie might want us to actually use? Why would we use them if black hammer was still as good as it is now? -end-

Bro, ones better for pvp ones better for pve.

You mean the one with Shank Burn on it? They didn't even try to make the PoE weapons good. I usually take my LDR over Black Hammer for the Fallen rounds of PoE, just because of the Arc Damage. It's not like no other legendary sniper can ever compete with Black Hammer. It's situational. The problem is that the bullet sponge situation is overused.

Maybe instead of nerfing the good (old) weapons they should figure out ways to make the weapons just as strong or stronger. But that might make too much sense for Bungie.

How can you beat infinite ammo, fast fire rate, and no reloading? I encourage you to think of something that can fit the role of a legendary weapon and not be over powered.

It's an effing raid weapon bro, it's not a Xur toy

I know? What is the point you're trying to make?

Well shame on Bungie for making something so great that it can never surpassed by another similar type of weapon. And the only way to encourage players to use the new guns is to nerf the shit out of it. I'd happily run new strikes and raids with original, amazing weapons and I'm sure many people would agree after all the hours and hard work put into obtaining them. Do I like variety? Of course. But make us [i]want[i] to use other weapons. It's a huge slap in the face if you ask me. Who wins here? Bungie, for getting the players to play the game they paid for, and to play it the way they see fit.
