So you forgot to mute your mic... Whats the funniest/worst thing you have said or heard?!
I started baby talking my fiancé... LFG guardian replies, "someone forgot to mute their mic!" Hahah i played it off pretty well anyways and convinced him it was weird to change who you are so people don't think less/differently of you :D

Edit 2: Does anyone ever call the Unmuted person out? How did they defend themselves?

1 ReplyWas playing with two of my guy friends and one of the guy's girl for the moment. She really hated me and was crazy-obsessive jealous over me and this guys friendship, so she would always try to steal my kills(GoW) or boot me from games. Very passive aggressive. Well she left the match saying that she had to go to the store. I forgot that the four of us were in a party and I bluntly said "I hate that stupid c*nt bitch". Needless to say, she flipped out and sent me hate mail for months. Worth it....you're still a b.

1 ReplyIn GTAV, when you're in the shower, you can sing to get bonus xp, so I told my friend that in a public session. He went into game chat (he was probably like 14 at the time) and started singing 'Just a Friend' in a really high pitched, voice cracking way, and got about 6 seconds in when someone heard him and said "What was that?" Then about 6 other people started laughing because we went into a full lobby where they were actually doing something.

Well I was just playing VoG with some randoms, and we are all talking.... Then my mom walks over and says, "who are these jack offs?". Silence. A player has left your fireteam.

So me and a friend are chilling out ol playing strikes, and trying to figure out what to do. I check my friends list, and see that a girl in our clan is not strutting her full Crota gear like she usually is. In fact she has level 1 gear on. This was a surprise, she ALWAYS shows her stuff off. So I look at her character, and see she's playing a defender, not a striker like she ALWAYS is. Then I see that she's in a fireteam with one other person. It's a guy she met from school, and he just started destiny. I bring this up to my friend, and joke about how she's being a humble defender for this one guy, so she must be interested in him! We joked about how it was probably like a date for them. Just two guardians playing the story, alone. Fast forward about an hour, both join our party, this is the first time I've talked to the guy, and he's really really quiet. After his first sentence I forgot he was there. The chick wanted to run nightfall real quick , so we got it done, and she said," alright guys, I'm gonna leave this party so I can help him with the story and stuff" So she leaves, and as soon as she leaves I say," SHES GON GET FU%KED" and start cracking up. But my friend is completely silent. 5 seconds later, the dude leaves the party. I FORGOT HE WAS IN THE PARTY AND HE HEARD ME SAY HE WAS GOING TO BONE OUR FRIEND. As soon as he left we were laughing so hard through. It was awesome

During Crota this guy had been yelling to his parents for a good 10 min before this happened, "Mum tell him to get off the internet" "Tell him to get off!l "I'm raiding" "YES ITS MORE IMPORTANT" Unintelligible screams to (I assume) his brother "I DONT CARE" Mom starts taking "Alright, BOTH of you can't use the Internet until (unintelligible)" "Mum I'm busy, not now" Mom talking "Get off the video game and come to terms with each other" "I SAID IM BUSY" Mom again, this time in a strict voice "Turn that thing off" "MUM IM BUSY" Mom "Turn it off or God help me I will for you" "GIVE ME A MINUTE" At this point his warlock died due to a leftover boomer "GODDAMMIT" Mom again "TURN IT OFF NOW" "GIVE ME A MIN-" Player left the fire team, rest of us were silent for a good 20 seconds until someone said "well then" cue uncontrollable laughing and a failed Crota attempt

6 RepliesAccidentally left my mic unmuted one night while in a party chat of about 5 people. We were all doing our own thing, but just in the party to bullshit. My wife and I ordered dinner from a local place called Spudz-n-Stuff, who basically put a bunch of various delicious things on top of a baked potato. The spud I ordered is called the "Homestyle Hungryman Spud" and has way too much food on it. Against my better judgement, I started and finished the whole damn thing...and then proceeded to lay on my couch moaning and bitching for like 20 minutes. Things like "whyyyy am I such an idiot???" "Why did you eat the whole thing oh my god kill me now!!" By the time I was done whining, I got up to grab my controller and shut my xbox off, so I could promptly go into a food induced coma, when I realized the orange light was off on my headset. I put my headset on, and said "uh, hey guys" and they all immediately started moaning and quoting my bitching. I laughed and then threw up. Fun night, really.

We were running VoG and were waiting for the whole team to get done with the jump puzzle when one guy says "don't start the next bit I'll be back in a second" we said sure and someone asked "I wonder what he's doing?" A if on cue we all hear a lighter and the sound of a bong coming from that guys mic. Needless to say the rest of the raid was a ton of fun.

2 RepliesGreat thread idea! Hilarious answers so far. I sang (with my shitty voice) a good minute and a half of 'Comedown' by Bush before i realized my mic was unmuted. I still cringe when i think about it. I am now crazy paranoid about my mic and check it frequently to make sure i don't make the same mistake. That's the worst one (as far as i know...)
