Whats stopping you? I think beating 34 and 35 PoE each week is easier than grinding out 100 vanguard marks every week trying to scrape together 200 marks in two weeks.

Right, PoE 34 takes 30 minutes. With probable weapon swapping and a bathroom break you should have three ELs in two hours.
-
For some that is just too much I guess.

Edited by Cooper: 7/31/2015 5:30:18 AMSeems so, they are pretending that it's for the EXTRA etheric light when in reality it will be their only way to get it - just because for whatever reason the don't want to/can't beat a lvl 34 activity. I really don't get it why people ask for end game rewards from low level activities.
-
How are you ever going to know if someone just wants extra etheric light or if it's someone's "only way to get it". You listed all the reasons why it's so easy to get then claimed that some people can't get it without asking for it for low level activities. You're not special. Getting the max amount of etheric light you can every week doesn't make you skilled or pro or anything to anyone. You're just another guy (or girl) sitting in front of a TV playing a game. Like chill. It's a game.
-
I'm chilled. I'm just saying that everybody who still asks for EL being obtainable in additional ways than the ones provided does something wrong. I'm no pro or something like that. Actually I'm a 45 year old self employed working guy who likes playing video games. I just think it's ridiculous to ask for additional ways when there are already enough opportunities out there to get the stuff. That's like saying "I can't beat the Templar on hard mode, please let me buy a Fatebringer for 200 vanguard marks". End game rewards come from end game content and PoE 34 is not even worth called being end game content because it just takes 30 minutes.
-
Hey man. Not everybody is blessed with the fatebringer even after 200 Templar kills. Finally have mine though. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. But if there was a way to get extra. I would totally go for it. But i do fine for now.
-
I know right... Easy enough as it is. Sadly, everyone in this game looks for the easiest routes.
-
Anyway I wonder why people still have a problem with EL. I have done trials only in week one and two because I'm not that good at PVP but wanted to go to Mercury at least once. I got most EL from iron banner and PoE and already have like ten sitting in the vault with every weapon upgraded to 365 (including multiple Fatebringers, VoC and Word of Crota). I guess it's similar to people complaining about "no Gjallarhorn" but with zero raid completions. They run patrol and hope for the magical chest to appear or a legendary engram to drop which then by accident turns into the mighty launcher. ;-)

Time, outside responsibilities, etc.
-
But you can play vanguard missions/crucible all day to get 200 marks?
-
Doesn't take long to get 100 of those points. You can only get 100 a week. Don't need to go all day. You have 7.
-
Takes maybe 3 hours to beat Skolas and lvl 34 poe. Shorter time than getting 100 marks
-
Skolas is several thousands of times more frustrating than strikes and normal pvp. I think the main point is getting extra etheric light.
-
PoE 34 takes 30 minutes and we did Skolas with brawler and juggler turned on in a little under 60. Stop wanting end game rewards from low level activities.
-
1. Never said I agreed with the guy. I just stated reasons why he may think the way he does. 2. I have so much etheric light I don't know what to do with it. 3. I'm not asking for anything to be handed to me. I haven't run a strike in months. I run skolas every week in less than an hour, I do the 34 when I feel like it. These days I just don't feel like it. Once again someone else who will probably get muted because they assume far too much.

Honestly this debate is retarded and could go on for hours. So I'm gonna get off of here. You have fun man.
