Pinewood Xur-by

This week, the Agent of the Nine is back in the Reef, selling some very close quarters combat items. He's also packing helmet engrams, so if you're looking for that elusive Nighthawk or a Ram, this might be the week to snap some engrams up. For Titans, Mr. Creepster is selling the No Back Up Plans Gauntlets. These increase the duration of Force Barrier. Being a Bubble Bro at heart, I will tell you that these can make incredible differences in any situation. A build I like to run is made around these and allows your Force Barrier to almost always be active. This is super effective in PVE, especially when the Brawler modifier is on, and can work wonders in PVP after scoring a melee kill. It's stat roll is strength, so this piece of armor is truly dedicated to avid melee men and women. A roll of 103 out of a max of 113 is solid for these gauntlets. If you are a Defender Titan, you better grab these while they are hot. The Knucklehead Radar is probably my favorite Hunter exotic, though I do have a theory that the skins of the ATS Arachnid and the Radar got mixed up. Their exotic perks make a lot more sense with the other skin. Unless you're running a weapon with Third Eye, Knucklehead Radar is something that either class can and should use. To be aiming down sights and still be able to notice an enemy sneaking up on you is such a powerful tool, especially in PVP. The Third Eye perk isn't appreciated as much in PVE, but it is still effective in those high intensity matches when aiming down sights is essential and you might not notice Adds spawning. It's stat is Strength, which, for any Hunter, is super important. 106 out of 137 isn't great, but it's certainly better than rolling an 88. I'd recommend this purchase. A total of 126 out of 130 is incredible for the Claws of Ahamkara. These Warlock Gauntlets give you an extra charge for all Warlock melees, so whether you're running Sunsinger or Voidwalker, the Claws are incredibly powerful. Strength and Discipline are incredibly important to Warlock builds, having some of the strongest melees and grenades in game. If the other two armor pieces weren't must haves for their classes, this most certainly is. Buy up that Suros folks, Weapon tuning is coming and the Regime could reclaim its seat as the most feared weapon in the Crucible! The slower fire rate/higher impact is an incredible combo for an auto rifle and it's exotic perk allowing health to be returned when dealing damage is a great way to deal with the briar bush that is the Crucible today. With Focus Fire being such a powerful perk as well, this weapon was and will be an incredible tool. If you don't have a Suros on your person or in your vault, this is the week to grab it. This is a great week for Xur overall. The past two weeks might have been a little underwhelming, but Xur has come through. Hope you've been running your weekly heroic strikes! Pick up some great loot while he's here. Until next time, good luck and I'll see you in space!
