Have skolas and the chests to do. My PlayStation (cheap plastic) gold headset broke so no mic for it..

You can use any set of phone earbuds. That's what I use. They work great.

Funny thing is, the earbud/mic that came with my PS4, is lasting longer than my $100 Turtle Beach headset lol. When my headset went out I was so bummed, but after digging around I found the earbud in the box as a temporary fix, but it's still going strong today. Headsets are bulkier so maybe they have a greater tendency to break because of it. Regardless, I wouldn't spend money on the PS headsets, definitely go with TB or Astros.

I've bought /two/ of the PlayStation gold headsets and both have broke within a year. In the same way. :/

Yeah they look pretty cheap, like some off brand plastic. TB and Astros are the way to go in terms of gaming headsets. Pricey, but worth it.
