If you see Red bar.....
Do you report them for lagging? What if they use dial up and can't afford good internet?
Dial up users stand up for your rights!
We have over 1k replies. Wow so many dial up users and mega speed users with red bar regardless.
I feel honored to see multiple threads very similar to mine. Originality seems to be lagging as well now!

4 RepliesI don't report them as cheating unless it's brutally obvious that they are. I usually just report them for bad internet connection if at all. By doing so my hope is that bungie handles different reports differently.

Well for me I can afford good Internet but I live in southwest Oklahoma so I don't have many options on a high quality Internet at the moment. So no I don't report everyone that's red barring because sometimes it's out of that persons control. But when someone is lag switching it's obvious.

no i wouldn't. i live in florida and there could be a storm on the coast and affect my power inland and i have a good connection. so i would give them the benefit of the doubt and hope the connection clears up.

Mine loses some connection if other people are also on the network. Does that make me a cheater?

Mine goes up and down every time I die it will start in green first death it's red then green again then yellow. It does that the hole match

Edited by novusomega: 7/31/2015 7:55:31 PMI can't and do not make an effort to report anybody, mainly because I'm not sure if they have bad internet, are cheating, or dealing with [b]bad servers[/b]. For instance, I sometimes red bar in Crucible for the parts of the match and just go back to green, and others I am fine. Additionally, I never go red during PVE or Tower, except when everybody is experiencing lag. Surely somebody has experienced the same thing as me, so I just grin and bear whenever a red bar shows up in the Crucible, because I have no idea why they are red.

I don't report for lagging.. I report a bad connection. I've never used the "cheating" report. I also reported a guy last night for being highly skilled. He was wreaking me with nlb snipes!

3 RepliesNo I don't report for cheating, but I do select bad connection every once in a while. times I've selected cheating is when I try to approach someone and suddenly they disappear off radar followed up by my death with the outlined guardian halfway across the map.

Then they should play something else. Bungie needs to drastically lower the max allowable ping to even play pvp.
