If you see Red bar.....
Do you report them for lagging? What if they use dial up and can't afford good internet?

We have over 1k replies. Wow so many dial up users and mega speed users with red bar regardless.

5 RepliesI hope not because every time I look, my own connection is red. I'm a legit player, I don't mess with my internet to get an advantage, I just live on a mountainside and only have one internet company to choose from. Even when it's red I don't seem to be lagging tho. The only time I'll report someone else is when it is suspiciously laggy, like emptying a shotgun into someone only for it to have zero effect, then I die and they run away.

If I can't kill them and they red bar, I report. My connection has been crap off and on this weekend and I'd red bar in matches at times, but people certainly didn't have any trouble killing me. I was never banned, so that makes it hard for me to believe the people that post and claim they were "unfairly" banned. I think Bungie has it together with the banning.

3 RepliesIt is not my job to guess why they are lagging. Red = Reported And we usually run IB in groups, so they get it from all of us. Now, the counter to that is that I'll only really check their connection if they are lagging so bad that it is obvious.

I only have a red bar when I play control, no other game modes. Anyone know why?

Sometimes it's amazing how our group is up by a few thousand points and then all of a sudden the other team is red bar and unkillable. Quite the coincidence.

This iron banner I started reporting every red bar I see. If its legit then no harm...if its not I hope they get a ban

It does piss me off when you shoot a guy 5 or six times with a hand cannon and they don't take damage they kill you with 1 shot. I have seen it both ways. Where red bar players win the match and where they can not do nothing. But my thing is that if there is a red bar in any team seem I can not kill anyone. If your excuse is poor internet yiu should not get on a multiplayer game. I do think Bungie could fix if they choose too with server for PVP. Right now the server is one of the players system, if they got slow internet speed the game is screwed. H For reporting the player , depends how it effect my game.

I don't but I watch their activity, there are telltale abilities true lag switchers get during a match.

Reporting someone for bad connection is not the same as reporting them for lag switching. The latter is determined by Bungie.

10 RepliesReport them and hope they are banned. It's not anyone else's problem they have crap Internet. That's ruins the game for the rest of us. So maybe spend a little extra to pay for better internet.
