It's more sad than anything else that their interactions with men overall have led them to feel threatened to the point of feeling the need to form an excusive group in order to have a safe play environment. What is silly is the increasingly common reports that the group is as internally abusive to its own members as they claim the rest of the community is and so the clan is not actually a safe place for female gamers. I have no proof to back that up but just today I've seen at least 4 female gamers claiming their experiences within the Dames was often hurtful and degrading.

Edited by Komodo Laggen: 7/31/2015 9:01:12 PMThis is what I mean! People place the label of man or woman, black or white, and they're all just buzz words that have no real meaning past character description. People are assholes to people. Some are more open with it and some might make a clan to be a false Shepard and corral people together to do the same thing they claim to detest. Dishonest and malicious people are far too common in the gaming world, because of anonymity. Just become a better judge of character and these problems don't bother. Unfortunately, most people are too trusting and bare their skin only to be quickly lashed for believing that someone was a nice person. Truthfully, there is nothing to be done about these people. There will always be more. Its sad to be a part of the same species of animal that is filled with so many sadistic deviants. But, all we can do is adapt and coexist.

Couldn't have said it better really. It is sad that some people feel so powerless in their personal lives that they feel the only recourse is to lash out from behind a wall of anonymity because that is the only way that they feel safe and powerful.
