I have the minimum requirement for online gaming, 3mbps, and even then, the connection sometimes dips into the red for a minute or 2. Nothing I can do about it. It's the only one available in my area for an affordable price. I have Verizon DSL. It's somewhat good, but if FiOs was in my area, I'd jump to that immediately. All the other providers do that bullshit where the price skyrockets after 6 or so months, so I avoid them. Not to mention, I've seen other people here in the forums who claim to have amazing internet speed, yet still see their connection drop to red or yellow. What this game needs is actual servers, not this p2p bullshit.

The trick with those promotions from other providers is give them a call right before your promo ends and negotiate with them 9/10 you can keep your price or within a few dollars of it . Just don't get one that requires a 12mo or 24mo service contract . It's really annoying to haggle with them but worth it

I suppose...though there's also the issue with things like data caps. For instance, Xfinity has monthly data caps. Also, for whatever reason, it seems that my current internet speed has dropped without warning or explanation just recently. Was playing a crucible match a few hours ago, then suddenly lag central right in the middle of it on my end. Had to log out of the game and check my connection through the console. Usually it shows between 2.6 and 2.8, but this time, it went all the way down to 1.3, and it's not going any higher. Tried checking the Ethernet cord, rebooting the router, etc. No change. My day could not get any worse. =_= Now I'll have to call Verizon and figure out what the hell happened.

Yea, I have 154mgbps but have a red bar quite frequently. All they need is servers...
