A stale morning, the ice was finally starting to melt Downtown, which resulted in the puddles Zhackies feet were currently splashing on as he walked. In one hand he held a bag of groceries he'd just purchased, canned fruits and preserved meats mostly, things that didn't go bad right away. Under the other arm he had a whole turkey however, just for Rom. He was in rather good mood with the credits he's just earned.
He teleported to immediately reach the top floor of the abandoned building he was currently occupying. A small building it was, only three floors, with everything on the bottom barred and sealed shut in attempt to keep people out, futile. "Rom, I'm home" Zhackie called out. Silence. "And I got turkey" with that, the Foo-Dog came running out to greet his partner. "Bon apetit" he said as he unwrapped the turkey and tossed it at his companion. As Rom began to joyfully eat Zhackie walked into an old office he decided to turn into a makeshift room. The window always gave good light into the room, especially around this hour. He sat down on his futon and browsed through his Tac Pad. That's when he came across the latest Jack Rabbit bounty, Cranes life. He navigated through the people participating, and passed his silent support. "Good luck ye bastards". He laid his head back and finally began to rest, he needed it.
