[b]HUNTING CRANE: FINALE.[/b]
[b]Crane fires off several shots before Sasüune, appears at the other end of the roof. The Hunter snaps his fingers and Crane's right leg breaks. Victor, stumbling about and nearly blind from pain, manages to land a throwing knife in the Agent's back. And to top it off, [ ] de-cloaks and leaps onto Crane's back, stabbing him. The two roll out of sight of the other Hunters.[/b]
[b]Crane collapses as [ ] strides towards him.[/b]
[i]This is the way it has to be, Potential. Don't beat yourself up over it. [/i]
[b]The cloaked figure leans on a wall and watches.[/b]
[u]I'm not going to, Crane. Believe me.[/u]
[b]The agent stands. He pulls out a pistol from his holster and offers it handle-first to the Hunter. He also hands over a set of identity papers, a set of blank dog-tags, and several data drives.
[i]Those will get you through the cordon outside. Good luck.[/i]
[b]He salutes solemnly and stands back.[/b]
[i]Finish it. Do it properly.[/i]
[b][ ] raises the pistol.[/b]
[b]A sudden whine pierces the air. A Mafia gunship rises above the pair and opens fire. Crane leaps atop [ ], shielding them as much as he can from the mini gun rounds that pour down on them.[/b]
[i]GET DOWN![/i]
[b]Crane is riddled with bullets, and a good dozen over-penetrate the Agent's armor, striking [ ] and the floor below the pair. The gunship suddenly explodes as an Overwatch missile bases hoses it down. [/b]
[b]The badly wounded [ ] pushes Crane's inert body away as a large medical drone, marked with an Overwatch symbol, lands nearby. The bot quickly tends to the most serious of the Hunter's wounds. It proceeds to scan Crane's vitals.[/b]
[b]He is dead.[/b]
[b] [ ] stands up shakily, then pauses to kneel down and shut Crane's eyes. The Hunter slumps, unconscious from their wounds, and is carried away by the drone. The remaining members of the bounty team arrive seconds later, and find only a single corpse, drying out in the first light of dawn.[/b]
[b] In the distance, [i]Taps[/i] begins to play.[/b]

[b]He just looks at her with cold eyes[/b]

"I'm not really sure what to say"

[b]He leans on the wall and listens to what she has to say.[/b]

"I guess I'll start with I'm sorry"
