I agree that it looks slim that year one will be up to par attack wise with year two but when bungie announced the deletion of our beta characters they said would stick with us over the next 10 years. Not sure if it includes weapons/gear but just saying.

I think it's just the characters. There's no way they keep bumping weapons. No one would play if they could take Suros Regime til the end....

I thought exotics will always upgrade and the legendaries is what will change

Maybe, but I doubt they carry exotics all the way for 10 years. Vaults wouldn't even begin to hold all that gear.

Supposedly the only reason the vault isn't getting bigger now is because of old gen. Not really sure tho. If Destiny 2 comes out with 10 new exotics then I doubt the old ones will carry over. If they release like 4 then I bet they do carry over

Maybe Luke Smith(as much as people hate him) is lead on the next raid like he was for VOG and legendaries will be legendary again lol

The new cap has finally been revealed: 40 But what’s not all that’s been changed! The way Bungie is approaching leveling up is now tied directly to experience. There is no more Light values on armor, so that “experience now feeds directly into your level progression all the way from 1 to the new level cap of 40.” This new way of leveling up – and reaching max level – isn’t going to be changed by things that are “outside of your control” and you’re not going to need to worry about armor determining what level you are. Just found this info. So. Maybe legendary weapons and guns will still be viable. Because your level is experience driven, not light level dependant. Hmmmmm. Maybe there [i]is[/i] some hope after all.

So when I reload Vanilla complete, its all waiting. Meaning TDB, HOW, TTK, and next two dlcs. That should carry right up until the supposed 3rd quarter 2016 full release.

Don't ya just wish they would not do hyoe and instead just tell us what to expect. Always suspicious when a company leads with hype instead of concrete info.

I have always been suspicious of the last gen argument. Mainly because other games pull it off. I think it's strategic. They don't want people to hoard and stop grinding is my opinion.
