Who cares, doesnt affect my enjoyment of the game. There are all girls no males clans in almost every fps and having been in rooms with guys and girls and hearing the things most of the guys say to them, especially if they beat them, I cant blame them. Hell I was in a room where the only girl playing was specifically targeted, even by her own team. That said its somewhat sexist to think they need someone to stand up for them, its a non issue.

In my PC MMO days we had females in the guilds/clans etc, some were shy to begin with but once they realised we just played for fun they soon came out of their shells and played big parts in the guilds/clans. Just saying gender shouldn't matter.

Why is this still a big thing

1.) It was their own gameplay that faulted the matches when they actually were able to complete them. I beat the team during the "strikes for veterans" bounty. Was it server issues that caused them to lose? No. It was simply that our team outplayed them on that given map at that given time. Nothing else. 2.) Whoever you are (in my mind), whether you're a guy, girl, straight, gay, black, white, whatever... you're a player and will be treated as every other player out there. If I so choose to trash talk you, there is a dampened good reason, and it isn't based on who you are, but something you were doing. As I said, in my mind, you're all equated to "player."

25 Repliesi really had a hard time watching this. i'm sure you're a nice girl. you have to understand that boys will be boys. i'm not saying that i excuse or condone any of that sort of behavior, but would you go into a lion's den and expect anything other than being mauled? what did you honestly expect to happen? the only thing that went beyond what i would be certain would happen is the -blam!- threat. that was way too far. the rest of it, i could have told you it was all going to happen. you may not see it this way, but you kind of stepped into a guy's man cave when you came into destiny. am i saying that girls shouldn't play? of course i'm not. but if you choose to, it would be wise to do so under the assumption that this sort of thing is going to happen. on a side note, keeping with me being a normal guy, your voice is super soothing and you sound cute. is your picture up on destinytracker or anything?

They need to get over themselves. If you are big in general from gaming to literature. You will receive hate no matter what. It wi never change. You hold yours head up high and keep going. Doing this just makes it show that they impacted you, you showed them that they did what there goal was.

It dont bother me with what i ear over the net and what is said to other people in a game cuz i know there is nothing in the world i can do to change that persons mind of things to say. But what somewhat bothers me is all the after math from something like this, a few knights in shaning armor comes and write that on the behalf of all men, i would like to apoligize. WHY!!!! It is not all men that do this. If someone do it to you, you know that you have a mute button / option right, and all the problem will be over...

2 RepliesThat whole chat just frustrated me. I gave up on it and just full screened it. Otherwise seeing bungie take players from destiny and playing with them is pretty cool. It is great community interaction. Some might say that the Dames existence is sexist. However sexist acts create this. Ive already seen it with some of my friends who never speak in parties because they are afraid to get judged. It doesnt seem big but a major part of the community is sexist, it is pretty sad honestly. I love playing destiny, but seeing others get excluded because of gender is frustrating. To point out, a good majority of female gamers I know play better than most day one guys I know. Hell, the girls can actually run sword, the guys cant they rely on me. Also how did cozmo go flawless? Did deej go flawless too?
