Really looking forward to TTK.
I have logged more hours in destiny than any game I have played in a long time.
$40, seriously? That is a little more than what it cost to go to the movies these days. A movie last roughly 2 hours. I suspect I will log way more than two hours in TTK.
its all about entertainment value, and destiny has been good value for my dollar.
As long as they can keep the game fresh, I see myself here for the long hall.
I have purchased no other game for my ps4 for over a year. I guess you can say I have been content with the game.

You're getting the same 2 hours of content, just like the movie. Only difference is you'll play that content over and over again for 100 boring hours. I'd rather see the movie.

To each his own. I normally have no desire to see the same movie over and over. One raid is worth playing over and over just to explore and collect loot, let alone the fun times with clan members.

You're delusional. The game is shit value-wise. You already paid 60$ for half of a game and now you're willing to pay 40$ for the rest of the game. Welp I guess you're keeping the economy rolling at the very least.

Its called entertainment. People pay twice this amount to take a family of 4 to watch a mlb game....lol 3 hours of entertainment.

You're missing out on an important variable here; quality of entertainment. The quality of entertainment can vary depending on the teams playing etc. but I can assure you it's far greater than this cash cow.

Very subjective and will vary greatly from person to person. Your definition of quality will be different from the next guys.

There's a point at which quality isn't subjective anymore, if a game is so bad that it barely functions or has so little content that it severely falls short when compared to other games then it'd be considered a bad quality product. Likewise if an overpowering majority of gamers consider this game to be low in terms of quality of entertainment that also takes negates the subjectiveness of this concept of quality of entertainment.

Curious, do you think a majority of gamers think this about destiny? My small clan of 12 is still playing albeit not quite as much.

Agreed. I work a lot of hours and I haven't enjoyed a game as much as I enjoy Destiny in YEARS.
