Funny how you think it is overpriced. You know what is overpriced? $20 for 9 aesthetics that do nothing for you other than make you look different.
Get your broke ass a job.

Edited by Vox Mortuis: 8/3/2015 2:44:35 AMNo, that isn't even over priced. If you compare that to other aesthetic items you can buy, the price is comparable. $20 for 9 is roughly $2.22 per item, and most aesthetic items cost around $2 each in other games. In fact, in some games they can cost as much as $10 to $15 per item.

I am about to crush your logic. If you are going to use that math then let me tell you right now that TTK is way cheaper. Here is why; TTK will include 1 Raid aprox 3 strikes 15 story missions 3 PvP maps 8 exotic weapons 2 exotic armor per character 3 new subclasses about 25 new cloaks 2 new gamemodes now there is more but lets just stop there. so now we add it all up according to your math so the total items we get is 63. Now the price for TTK is $40. $40 / 63 = .63 cents So that means each item is worth .63 cents, now compare that to $2.22 and that will prove that $40 is very cheap. #Logicbusted

I'm judging it based on other game's prices on aesthetic items. Do you even logic? It has nothing to do with the price of the actual game.
-
Your logic is because one company makes overpriced content then all companies should. Now do YOU even logic. An apple is an apple even if you chop it up into pieces.
-
Actually, almost all companies do that. However, as I stated in another comment, value is relative to the consumer. These items are purely aesthetic, meaning if you don't want to pay $20 for them, don't...it won't change your gaming experience. Plenty of people, however, see it as reasonable.

Go look up cosmetic items you can buy in WoW. $2.22 is cheap.
-
Go look up cosmetic items you can buy in WoW. $2.22 is cheap.
So is .63 cents.
-
But you're undervaluing them. $2.22 is cheap for any type of cosmetic micro transactions. Maybe if they were legendary or lower gear then it could be $1 or under but it's an exotic. Here look at wow and see how cheap it is to get 9 items for $20 bucks. https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/game/wow?categories=helms%2Cmounts

You still don't get it. Yeah it is cheap but it is %350 more expensive than one item of TTK.

Edited by CreativeTim: 8/3/2015 11:58:14 AMBut you can't vaule content like that, only cosmetic items. Bungie would not vaule a raid at being worth less than 2 dollars. The dlc / expansion is a bundle of things they think is worth $40 buck. Not that each one is equally worth a certain amount of that $40.
-
So let me get this straight, you think silly little dance moves is worth and entire DLC? HoW is $20 and it contains more emblems and class items than the cosmetic pack yet for some reason less is worth more. You value a dance move more than a raid.
-
Cosmetic items are valued differently. When company's are making expansions/dlcs they are not putting a vaule on each individual item in them. Almost every game has some form of cosmetic items and it's possible to spend more money on those items then the actual game. Does it mean those items are "worth" more than the actual playable content? No it doesn't.
-
You know, you seem to really enjoy getting reamed don't you? The way you are talking it is like you are happy that a single picture or dance move can worth more than entire DLC or expansion. How much corporate dick do you take a day?

Calls me immature but can't admit I am right.
-
You're not right and you're immature. I laid out my argument in a civil manner and you just simply resorted to insults because you have no valid points. You don't like the price of the cosmetic items that are not necessary for the game? Then don't buy them. Other than that all I can tell you is get a better paying job, so that $20 doesn't break the bank for you.
-
Calls me immature then says I have no points. This leads me to believe that you thought you were right and you don't want to read anyone elses counter argument because you have your head up your ass.
