seeing as my ps4 is like 200+ feet from my computer...not happening

Then move your router and/or your computer closer. Or get a really long Ethernet cable and run it under the floor or the attic. My router is upstairs and my Xbox is in my basement. Found a hole (would have drilled one if I needed to) and strung it thru to my Xbox.
