At launch, the game cost 60 dollars (unless you bought Ghost edition like me)
Most people have put around 700-800 hours into this game. Some less, some much much more.
Most people drop 60 bucks for one trip to the bar.
At 800 hours, 60 bucks gets you 33.3 days of entertainment. Seems like a good value.
TTK costs 40. And I'm sure I'll probably end up putting another 300-400 hours into Destiny playing with friends. Hell, even if TTK lasted for about 200 hours worth of play before I was done, I still consider that a value.
Most DLC expansions cost 10-15 dollars. And they are usually done and played out the day they release.
And before anyone tries to explain to me of how they played all this time, but hated the game. I don't believe it. If you have over 500 hours in this game. You had fun. Maybe it was because you were with your friends. Maybe another reason. But I'm sorry the "I'm just trying to hit max lvl" or "I'm done once I get gally", etc, are bad excuses.
Why do you want max lvl, gally, or any of that? If you hate the game you will move on. No one here is going to convince me they put in days worth of playtime on this game and hated it. You know what I do when I hate a game? I stop playing. If you hate Destiny, and still play it, you're an idiot, no other explanation.
For those that say, the game has some serious flaws. I agree, it does. But it is still an enjoyable game, and is still fun.
