[b]Location: The Firm, Centra, Cedyetica[/b]
"Welcome back old friend," Merrick says walking over hugging me with a pat on the back.
"Can't lead this company by yourself," I say jokingly.
[b]The press begin asking questions regarding my whereabouts. I begin answering. Afterwards I signal Jae and Evie to come. Both ditching their distinct nanosuits. [/b]
[b]Jae wears a white hoodie with light jeans and gray sneakers. Evie with a gray sweater, dark jeans and black heels. Marcus stands by the door with his cybernetic arms.[/b]
"Family of yours boss?" Marcus says greeting me by the door.
"Cousins", I said.
"Take notes kids, your cousin here has saved hundreds of philanthropist, and rich people who are trying to rebuild this city."
[b]They both smile and nod.[/b]
"So when's this new guy coming"? he asks.
"I'll give him a call actually", I said making my way to the elevator.
[b]Upon reaching the top, I show the two to my office and they make themselves home lying down on the couches. I make a quick call to none other- than Etana.[/b]

A black-suited man in dark glasses, with a strange striped flag lapel pin, enters the Firm an speaks to the receptionist. [b]I'm here to see Mr. Okura.[/b] "Your name, sir?" [b]Mr. Forrest.[/b] You'll be called up in just a moment, sir. The man sits down in the waiting area, pulling a small book from his coat pocket, and reads quietly to himself.

[b]I exit the elevator and see you waiting in the lobby.[/b] "Mr. Forrest", I presume?

The man stands up and extends his hand. A smile stretches its way over his face, as if he's know Kai for years. [b]Kai! Great to see you again. How's the big case going? I've brought the information you asked for.[/b] He leans in. [b]We need to talk. Now. Act natural. [/b] He slings his arm around Kai's shoulder, and the two casually stroll to the nearby elevator that lead's to Kai's office, carrying on small talk.

[b]The elevator scans and it is cleared. We make our way to my office. Jae and Evie notice you and I introduce you.[/b] "What is this about?"

Inside the file, there is a series of photos. Malachi is featured in all of them, along with a group of hard-faced, bald men in para-militaristic uniforms. All of them wear a snake-eating-it's-tail armband on their left arms. They are entering the Monarchy senate. Other photos show council meetings, and what seems to be an election. [b]That "stage two" you told me about? It's already happened. Those were taken by remote cameras weeks ago. Our contacts in the Overwatch got them to us today.[/b] He suddenly presses a finger to his ear. [b]Damn. Do you have a TV in here?[/b]

[b]The holo-screen TV turns on by the couches.[/b] "Wait that doesn't make sense...why is he at the Citadel? He hates the monarch just as much as the people in this city do?"

Onscreen, Malachi can be seen, surrounded by his bodyguards. "And so, my fellow citizens, we shall do what we must to make our land great once again! We shall arise like never before, and Cedycita's dominance shall last throughout ETERNITY!" The crowd cheers wildly as Malachi's soldiers salute first him, then the crowd, who return the gesture. Forrest turns to the others. [b]See this?! He's taken over.[/b] Scrolling across the bottom of the screen are these words: [u]NEWLY INAUGURATED MONARCHY SPEAKER ANNOUNCES AMBITIOUS PLAN TO REVIVE NATION; APPROVAL RATING SPIKES. [/u]

Forrest pulls another file from his dossier. [b]Like you were told when we first made ourselves known to you, each permutation follows a slightly different formula. This one is twofold. Namely; why enslave people when you convince them that you can lead them to grandeur? If you have a whole nation that trusts you beyond death, you have no need for chains.[/b] [b]The second part is worse; those who he sees as inferior are being blamed for the problems of the nation. Those are the ones he's enslaving. The ones who can't be part of this "New Dawn."They'll be the ones building the new homes, and working in the new mines.[/b] He inhales and pulls out a series of blueprints. They contain plans for massive prison facilities. [b]And they are the ones that will disappear in the night. And if Malachi has his way, nobody will see them again.[/b]

"No he recruits Psions into his league. He kills, and dissects the head and gives the brain to his soldiers to study." He meets these psions individually, always bringing one who refuses the previous proposal, disects the powerless Psion in front of him, to further "persuade" him to join the Legion.

Forrest nods shortly. [b]I see. Well, it would seem that these Uruborus cultists are his "new" Legion. And if that's the case, then-[/b] Suddenly, there is an explosion in the distance. A massive cloud rises over the city, and a shockwave rattles past, cracking the Firm's windows. Alert sirens begin to blare. [b]What in the-[/b] Forrest clicks on his earpiece. [b]Looks like there's battle starting in the main square. Some kind of pro-Monarchy rally gone bad. A firefight's started up between the police and some red-armored nut jobs. You got any idea who that might be?[/b]

[b]The E button turns green after security approval and Chief approval.[/b] [b]As you turn you notice the other spacious offices over viewing the cityscape. You approach my glass door. And notice the two sitting by the couches.[/b] "What're you doing here?!?" Jae says. "This is awkward", Evie says. "Uhhhh have you guys met"? I say coming from the balcony.
