Those out there who this relates to need to just chill for a second and read this.
I'll start by saying that I know that this doesn't apply to everyone, but...
PvE: Skolas; people must have a Gjallarhorn to be invited. Really? Just shut up, do you suck that bad to need a Gally to kill him?Anyway, they just haven't gotten lucky enough yet. It doesn't mean they suck. Nor does it make killing him impossible! I have personally killed him many times with a fireteam of 3 and me being the only one with a Gjallarhorn. It may take a little bit longer but it's not like you're going anywhere else. Besides there are many more badass weapons out there that can get the job done just as well if you're coordinated.
PvP: ToO (Trials of Osiris). Must have a certain k/d ratio and have already gone flawless to be accepted? Again just shut up. You take this too seriously! Anyway... I have an average k/d ratio of 0.83, pretty awful I know, but I've gone flawless. Sure it shows experience, but half the time on Control, Clash and Rumble you run off randomly on your own against six other enemies possibly getting double teamed or worse, (Guarantee you most people lie about it anyway). Most who enter trials know to stick together. And have coordination.
Look, all I'm saying is lighten up a little. There definitely should be requirements but make the within reason. Be someone's hero and help them through their first flawless run, Skolas kill and/or raid. You might make someone's day! After all, everyone has to start somewhere.
