Are you serious? You do realize that a lot of grimoire score in destiny is collecting damaged ghosts right?
They weren't damaged by nothing man.

I just assumed some ghosts are smarter than others, just like spartans. There are plenty of dead spartans, yet chief still lives and fights because he's better.
