The Spartans don't have super speed, they are just faster, if you get what I mean. They aren't gods, they're just really good.

Hunters (the fastest class in destiny) don't have super speed either, Spartans can run up to 60mph give or take a few, I don't recall the grimoire stating Hunter could run anywhere near that fast

Umm, the fastest Spartan was jelly, and she could run close to 30 miles per hour. Hunters aren't faster than Spartans, although Titans can actually move faster than hunters in game. I'm just trying to say that Spartans don't have super speed, they are just really fast.
