Lol, ok, so can a warlock acquire so much raw data they literally lose their mind, and die, because they thought themselves to death? Can a warlock help someone survive a point blank nuclear blast? No? Didn't think so

That's an Exo who is reaching his past memories. An EXO. Not a human, and it does not specify what class it is. An Exo is a robot, and that Exo is accessing past memories, he is not gaining more knowledge.

Thanatonaut. I'm pretty sure that's a special subclass of warlock that we can't play as, and one we have never seen before.

So that means not all guardians gain knowledge when the self resurrect. In fact, very few would.

I read it, but just because you say it doesn't mean it's true. As someone else, I think in fact, already pointed out, only a small group of warlocks can access knowledge. Of course whatever they learn are just their memories, and not anything that could really help in a battle.
