[b]Shortly after Jae and Evie give Etana his new gear in Kai's [i]penthouse[/i] they all grab onto summit and we disappear and reappear in centra.[/b]

[b]Jae uncollapses his auto-crossbow out. Evie, uncollapses her compound bow.[/b] "Alright so usually we hunt the bad guys around night time", she says. "Wanna play hero?" Jae asks loading his crossbow.

[b]He folds the two handguns and puts his hood on.[/b] "You sure this is appropriate for you kids?" [b]He says jokingly.[/b]

[b]Across the roof is a small group of 5 mafia goons. 4 are armed with metal bats while the middleman who looks to be their leader holds a revolver in one hand and a cigar in the other. The four square off a lone beaten man in the center.[/b]

[b]He slings his gun and walks over to the group of men. He jams the mans gun and punches the guy nearest to him square in the nose making him bleed and fall to the ground. Another swings down on Etana but he swiftly backs up and kicks him in the side of his knee and a loud pop is heard while he yells. The other two charge me with there bats and he swiftly doges each one. One reaches for a hard swing but I punch him in his throat making him drop his bat and fall to the floor. He lifts the bat with his foot and makes it fly towed the other man making block it but soon after Etana does a quick succession of lunches to his face,cheat and gut. The man with the revolver stands there trying to shoot Etana but it doesn't work. He walks over there and gives him a hard right hook making him fall and hit the floor. He then turns towards Jae and Evie.[/b] "That's what I got."

"40.3 seconds, impressive," Evie says. "And without powers," Jae adds in. [b]The beaten man grabs the revolver and he shoots you in the back, but you're protected with the armor.[/b] [b]Evie fires an arrow that hits him in the shoulder.[/b]

[b]He turns to look where the bullet hole would've been.[/b] "Thx for the suit and thanks for the save Evie."

[b]She performs a curtsey[/b] [b]Summit leaps from the roof, and Jae pets him.[/b] "Lead the way chief", Jae says.

[b]He looks at his tac pad.[/b] "Alright we got some activity not to far from here." [b]He puts his hood on and the two kids notice he's wearing a power glove indicating he's a hacker. [/b]

[b]Evie and Jae disappear for 10 seconds, then suddenly reappear where the truck used to be, where the 6 men are tied and knocked out.[/b] [b]Jae laughs and Evie gives you a girlish wave.[/b] "Sorry we got lazy", Evie says.

"You two are a bunch of show offs." [b]He jumps down.[/b]

"Perks of having a time controlling sister..." "...and a gravity manipulating brother", she says.

"Yeah I see that. I'm hacker what the hell can I do?" [b]He says jokingly.[/b]

"Open sealed doors, traffic lights, hack into any encrypted system, you guys can do a lot of things", Jae says

"What's to do around here?" Jae asks curiously. "Yeah I mean old Cedyetica has some pretty nice places around here right?" Evie asks.

"what do you kids usually do? Other than fight crime and leave people on top of buildings in the middle of the night."

"I cheer", Evie says. "And I'm majoring in Business" Jae says uncollapsing his crossbow. "I mean for us, this is our enjoyment...we save lives every night, prevent bad things from happening. We hell people when they're danger, when no one else can." "Our mom used to tell us: "[i]Hard times don't create the hero, but that during the hard times, the hero within us awakens."[/i] "She was referencing towards dad..." Evie said.

"I see. You guys enjoy being the heroes. Kai is a good guy hell he's the one who stopped me from being a thief. Thanks to him he offered me a job as security."

"Well obviously Mom and Dad are our source of inspiration." Jae says. "You were a thief?" Evie asks. "Were you ever arrested? Charged with anything?"

"Yeah I can see that. I didn't grow up with any parents. I didn't even know my parents. No I never got caught."

"Growing up in the streets...so you learned how to adapt. How to survive by any means", Jae adds in.

"Yeah. My parents abandoned me when I was young. They left me at an orphanage and that's where it all started."

"Have you met them since?" Jae asks. "Jae!" Evie says barkingly. "Oh right, sorry...just forget I asked", Jae says awkwardly.
