These posts show up wayyyy too often.
All of the halo fanboys will defend master chief to the very last breath, but i know my warlock, titan, or hunter would all roast MC.
It comes down to a simple matter of technology. Our guns are much better, our ghost is more advanced than their AIs (please argue with me on this fanboys, i love proving you wrong), and we guardians are capable of channeling [i]the light[/i] into an efficient, and destructive weapon, while chief has to rely on only his enhanced skills, reflexes, info from cortana, and his suit. Chief would lose a melee battle to anything but a hunter, so close range isnt an option for him. Armor lock is nice and all, but i could see chief armor locking through my sunsinger grenade spam, then once it's gone, i'd slap him into ashes. "Bye bye sierra 117, shouldnt have talked shit to a guardian."
Guardians are generations ahead of spartans in multiple categories, but the fanboys will defend chief to the death as always.
No matter what, chief [b][i][u]WILL[/u][/i][/b] get disintegrated in a battle against my guardians.
And yes, i've played halo. No spartan has ever been capable of the destruction a guardian is able to cause (sure chief has destroyed many covenant ships, but from the inside, and any capable soldier can do that). Jorge is close, but even he would get disintegrated by the light.

you seem to underestimate chief. he killed a forerunner. even if it was through an entire campaign he would still win a 1v1 fight. probably throwing him into a halo ring.

No, you're all [i]overestimating[/i] chief, and [i]underestimating[/i] guardians. I could annihilate any forerunner as my warlock, and then continue to kill more, since i have unlimited grenades, and a rechargable void explosion. Chief would take wayyyyy longer than a guardian.

your joking right? the forerunners LITERALLY blew up stars for fun. it would take an entire campaign for you to kill a forerunner. ESPICIALLY one like the didact who is stronger then the normal forerunner.

I would say most the Halo weapons I was allowed to use when I played a lil are more advanced than destiny's (since MC can use enemies dropped weapons, and Guardians refuse to pick other weapons up) Most advanced destiny weapon is the fusion rifle :P... However, I do not remember MC having grenades, energized punches, or any specific abilities of any kind... just a Good old strong soldier in some really good armor... and Guardians are effectively designed to have some superhero like explosive powers... But I do think I heard something about a Spartan laser... which I think was being described like a body shot sniper in Halo... in which case, if this is one on one, MC doesn't have to be as precise to take out the guardian at range.

Chief ate a nuke and also fell from space. I'd like to see what some puny light can do to him. Sure won't disintegrate him

Also, he can get killed by their plasma weapons quite fast, so chief is far from invincible. No i didnt read any of the books, but i'm talking from in game experience on both ends. Guardians are capable of much more destruction than any spartan. It's a fact. [spoiler]He only survived the fall from orbit due to armor lock, so that argument is invalid. Also, i've survived rockets to the chest as a titan, so that doesn't impress me.[/spoiler]
