how do you know the weapons will be better? through out all the expansions the weapons have actually really gotten worse except for black hammer.

Nah, that's wrong. Black hammer is OP not better. Trials guns are legit and some of the prison ones are hella solid.

In PvP only. You can't tell me that Her Benevolence outshines Black Hammer or Spear in pve.

Her benevolence is a decent PVE sniper. Most expansion snipers are comparable if not better than any vanilla ones.
