The masked soldiers burn all in their path. The battle lasts for hours, until the last 1,000 cultists and Legion members have withdrawn to the Temple of Kiber. Night has fallen as the first Delta point teams reach the area.
Slaughtered worshippers and Vanguard warriors lay on the steps leading up to the massive structure. Unholy chanting can be heard from inside.

[b]People in the area here a noise come from the sky as a Delta Green squad led by Jaque wearing a new power suits hot drop in pods and they begin they're assault on the temple at night.[/b]

As you enter, you find a group of cultists, led by a man in emerald robes. They stand around a massive corpse, the size of three elephants stacked atop each other. The cultists stand over the body as the chanting stops. The high priest slits his throat and falls spread-eagles upon the corpse, which begins to glow. There is a flash of light as the cultist let loose with a final scream, arcanely amplified, which echoes through the city: [i]ÏA! ÏA CTHULU FTHAGN![/i] [b][i]ÏA![/i][/b] The beast is summoned back to unholy life, tearing through the roof of the temple. It has somehow increased in size, towering over the entire city. It opens its many mouths, spreads its wings, and howls. The amassed Delta Green forces do two things: Pray to whatever god they believe in, And open fire.

[b]Jaque uses the power suit to clime to the beasts head, once at the top he takes out a Kap-8 pill he stole from the DG lab and swallows it he begins to drain the beasts life force[/b] How you like that ya big ol bitçh.

Chthulu pulls you off of it, spits out the pill, throws you onto a faraway roof, and wails again. The dead cultists scattered across the city rise up and begin to mutate into terrifying Deep Ones, gibbering praise to their god as they rend apart their former Legion allies. Soon, they reach the Delta Green main line, and the soldiers open fire.

[b]Jaque sits up and takes of the broken power armor. Jaque decides it is time to track down and kill Malachi. The power drained from cthulu is enough to resist the strength of Malachi. Jaque tracks down Malachi kills his guards and begins one to one combat.[/b]

Suddenly, a B-1 Lancer streaks over Clockmetal. It launches a single missile at the Elder God, which explodes against it in a blinding blue flash. Time stops, then slowly rewinds. Delta Green soldiers who seconds ago were dead spring back to life. The Deep Ones collapse, as does Chthulu. Houses that were burned and demolished fit themselves back together like rewinding video tapes. The city resumes the state it was in fifteen minutes ago, and the cultists are cut down by gunfire just before they start their ritual. The corpse is burned and its ashes launched into space. The cultist's bodies are likewise burned. Delta Green departs, their job done. Forrest bumps knuckles with Braun as they board the nearest Huey. [b]They never saw us...[/b] [i]'Cause we were never here.[/i] [b]Amen to that.[/b]

We're going to take it and raise the frequency of their cerebral jammers, it'll hurt themselves along with the entire city, leaving them no choice but to shut it," I say. "Are you with us Shift?" Tessa asks.
