Them tasty tears.
All they have mentioned is Legendary items. They have yet to explain what's going on with Exotics. However, even Bungie isn't dumb enough to make people get them all over again.

Bungie need to deliver what they really mean. Instead of telling it's community one thing. Letting people jump to conclusions. Then change things because they'll lose money.
