They are references. Stalk thy prey is a reference to Hawkmoon, a high power weapon. How often you see me is a reference to how much power weapons are seen in the crucible, quite frankly, The Messenger hits like a truck, get all precision shots, 2 burst kill.

yet i never see it equiped by anyone when i play. It has to keep a battle going, And the messenger was already a answer to a riddle once before.

I doubt they would use it again. Its a part of destiny it is not the speaker it is not strange coins a rocket launcher a sniper a titan nor a warlock nor a hunter. It is not third eye nor a scope nor osiris or fallen or vex and kepris sting. Nor the hive or oryx, not the guardians nor the light or darkness, nor is it the traveler. I wanted to say health earlier but it doesn't fit, it has no brothers nor a hidden power. it is not strange coins nor the vanguard or crucible, or ghorn or hawkmoon. It isn't life nor death nor ghosts nor supers or grenades. it is not radar nor visor and helmets or armor in general, it isn't EXOTICS in the count of all of them nor vex myth
