O.G. raid weapons and rare legendaries should always be supported even if we are limited to a number (7) of items to ascend beyond year one.. I should be able to suit up in year one armor, it's part of MY story. I Want to reach in the vault 3 years from now and grab a still-relevant Fatebringer, Messenger, VoC etc.. Newbs should fear and respect the originals and the grind to get them. There may be a dozen better hand cannons in TTK but there is only one Fatebringer and it's a part of my year one experience that I'd like strapped to my side in future expansions. It's part of my legend.
