The old Legendaries and stuff we grinded for wasn't to be used in PvE for the next ten years. That would become incredibly stale, we grinded for those for the events of that time.
ALL Old Gear will still be viable in Regular Crucible. Only place it won't be is in Iron Banner & Trials.
