What exactly did it mean? That weapon you grinder for is now obsolete, your just gunna accept it?

You mean you didn't do vog hard as level 29-30, you didn't do ce hard as 32 and you didn't do poe skolas as 34? Those are the reasons you grind for gear, to participate in end game challenges.

I play PvP 75% of the time and I think I can keep using them for nonlevel bases crucible. I got to use all my weapons that I grinded for a lot on PvE. If I keep them, and even If they could be ascended, I wouldn't use them. Just because Fatebringer is in my opinion the best primary to use on an arc burn nightfall, doesn't I will use it on every single nightfall you know? Would I like to have the chance? Yes. Would I use them over the new weapons that got me hyped long before I bought all that new content? No.

If you've spent that much time in the crucible, then there's is no way that you've grinded as hard as a lot of players out there

Almost all Osiris gear and items (I guess that doesn't count as a grind lol). Beaten Skolas. Only exotics (only 1 drop on crucible) I don't have is Gjallahorn and Bones of Eao . +50 Faction Levels combined. And that's only on my Titan. I deleted my Day 1 lock plus 3 more characters. So I have had 7 characters in total. Would that be enough for you to think that I have played enough PvE?

Then how can you possibly be ok with what bungie's doing!?!? I am literally on the exact same level as you. I'm not even kidding. I've got all raid weapons, every PoE weapon and armor, all the trials gear, and every exotic in the game, fully upgraded, just for my titan as well... no joke. But how can u possibly feel okay with this!?!? I just need to hear a thought out explication for how someone in the same boat as i, can just sit by as all of your weapons are now deemed useless in 90% of the game.

I am not THAT ok with it. Is either that or leaving Destiny until it becomes the game that it wants to be. I am more dissapointed about the gear than the weapons. And as I said, I would love to have the chance of using my old legendaries every now and the on end game activities, but I will still be able to use them on PvP, so at least there's that. How I feel right now? Kind of bittersweet. I knew by the steps they were taking that for example my +20 Etheric Lights will be useless like the Vanguard/Crucible Marks were on TDB. I am looking forward to use all the new weapons and get exited about doing a NF or Raid (been months since Ive enjoyed a rng drop...) But yeah, and sorry for the long post, all I have left is the feeling that I still will be able to use them on PvP and MAYBE they will reconsider this on the future and let us upgrade them. Just like Deej said, they don't have a gameplan for Destiny.
