Hey, Yes, another thread about not being able to use your legendary items when TTK arrives. To be honest I don't really care to ascend the weapons I'm more concerned about the Armour sets. One of the statements from BUNGIE a couple of months ago said, 'you get to play it first and you get weapons and armour that new people won't have' but that's not really going to be true anymore. I would like to keep my armour sets because they will be unique. I have my vanilla armour(maybe not thr best stats) that would become unique. Why collect all these armour sets if they were to be useless for expansions/DLC. I would have thought this would all change for Destiny 2 but not so much to make nearly everything you made a grind for I'm a DLC pack. Seems pointless to me. Before anyone states, 'its an MMO or play an MMO this is how they work', it's not. Not all MMOs work like this, infact most MMO games like LOTRO have a way to keep upgrade, deconstruct and make your own legendary weapons which can be kept. You can disagree if you wish but hate message will be ignored. It's my opinion that is all. However if all armour and Weapons that are legendary are to be changed, all that grinding made usless, I won't be playing on. I wasted to many hours on this game and won't do it for a second year to have it all reset again. There are other games out there, and MMOs, that do not do this that I am sure I will be happier playing.
