Thoughts on losing light levels and going to 20?
I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

yea getting to 34 was so hard. took me 2 whole days to get all three characters to 34. xp grinds are easy as f[b]u[/b]ck since no RNG bullshit is involved

1 ReplyYou are stupid, when they were revealing the game at E3 the game still wasn't finalized yet with all the light level and stuff so the just kept you at level 20 so there weren't any bugs. Also the light cap has been increased to 40

My only concern is that bungie vision is doing away with light level solely for the fact it will make alot of people spend that extra 20 on the exotic class items to get extra xp

I like that experience is what ranks us up but to once again take away from the player like they did with the 'give & take' weapon perks is pretty -blam!-ing annoying. First it was all about the journey and showing off our hard earned gear but then vault space became unsolvable and now they've changed their tune completely. I really enjoy Destiny but am really looking forward to Black Ops 3 beta and Halo 5. Maybe by the time those games come out I'll have gotten a Red Death. I have it on Xbox but it just won't drop on PS4.

I think most caught it. Myself i look towards the new toys to be found. Once the new drops start the fire will catch and the boards will light up with this is dropping here and i just got this. If you like destiny now there will just be more to like.

I never liked the light level system, so I'm ok with it. It's not like I'm not used to it, after getting 3 characters to level 97 ( my laptop crashed before the level 99 cap) in ffxi. I doubt we will need 70,000 exp between levels, so I'm good.

So getting to 40 can't be that easy it may take extreme amounts of kills and xp to get done.

More than likely, Bungie will put us at the highest level our characters are at now. They won't make us regrind levels. They learned the hard way after "The Dark Below" exotic grind. However, anything is possible.

Just think of all the bounties you can do everyday. We'll be level 40 in no time.

2 RepliesI honestly like it. Our old equipment will become relics of the past from which we braved the darkness and obtained them. Leveling up could be a better change for destiny in the fact that you won't be stuck at a level anymore. The downfall is that some players will struggle grind as in fail and still get experience, causing a level growth that is not equal to their skill. But just my opinion

It will be nice to use whatever bloody gear I want going forward. Really this is just the same as Etheric Light. I am fine with it.
