Thoughts on losing light levels and going to 20?
I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

Game informer just released a video talking about how there guardians started at 34 and began to level up from there with xp.....

10 RepliesLook at the story missions with the last dlc...what level are they? Now think about what has been said about the boost...it will bring one of your characters to the minimum level for the taken king. Now think about those two things and realize that your not going to be dropped to level 20.

It should have been implemented sooner, some people just get super unlucky and get stuck at low levels not really being able to access some of the best parts of the game

Hooray, fix the problem now so it's not an issue in destiny 2 and onward. The only reason we couldn't level up more than 2 levels before was because of the stupid light level system. Now, level decides your level. It sounds like light will be similar to item numbers in WoW

If any of you guys played WoW and used Curse. Remember gearscores? Basically that's what light will be like. It tells you how strong you are compared to other players of the same level to you.
