Like I said I want this all to be true and I'm not mad or anything. Not trying to argue either. I only want armor with certain rolls (normally intellect and discipline.) That cuts most of those options in half. Throw in the ones with horrible perks and maybe 25-50% are useful in my opinion. My biggest problem is bungie won't release a number. How many of the guns are like the HoW weapons. The same gun with chance to get random perks and sometimes random elemental damage. If you counted each one as a separate weapon there was probably a lot. Bungie is good with how they word things. They say something and sort of let people run with the hype. Which isn't entire their fault. People's expectations are sometimes too high and bungie misleads a little too often. It's like the whisper game on steroids. They try to be transparent at times but never actually come out to check people's perception. That's why I have my doubts. I've taken everything bungie and others have said with a grain of salt. Problem is now I'm sort of at my wits end. I liked almost no gear or weapons from the HoW DLC. TDB had it's fair share of good ones but still isn't as good as VoG. The perks seem to be getting lamer while the content(missions, end game content, bosses) seem to be taking longer to beat. It seems as if they are purposely making it harder to get through things. It's adding "value" if it takes 5 hours to beat something that 5 hours we can add to the playtime. It seems as if they don't have as much content as they lead people to believe. They increase TTK on bosses and taking away perks on armor or weapons that true felt unique. So I just don't know. They should add things to compete with over taking away. I don't mind the weapons and armor leaving but with the likely hood they will be complete shit compared to the old gear doesn't sit well with me. I just want something that is at least compareable but so far there isn't much.
