Zhackie leaned against the wall of an alley, staring up at the sky as his mind underwent a fluctuation of thoughts and opinions of what he was considering. Could he, he knew he could. But is this really what he wanted? Did he really want to go back to that city after everything it put him through? After his mother risked her life to get him and his sister out? Damn, he really hated thinking on this subject. Rizhka, he echoed his sister's name through his mind, he wondered where she was.
He looked at his canvas travel pack that was leaning against the wall right next to him. It seems no matter how many times he thinks he's made this decision he always second guessed himself right after. This is more than just a matter of personal choice, this is to a far extent, an obligation on your part. And to say otherwise is either a lie or plain optimism he told himself. He knew the answer to his previous question, he didn't want to. Hell, he didn't want anything, it was more what he spurned rather than what he wanted. He's been sitting in the sidelines this whole time, and he's hated every second of it to this point.
The decision has been made he thought, and this time he was sure of it. He leveled his head back down, and turned to see Rom, who's been chewing on a piece of plywood this whole time. "We're going North, I mean it this time" he said to his companion. "I just need this mask" he added as he brought up his Tac Pad.
