Why do people not want new better weapons. That's what makes you keep coming back. If all your current weapons stayed the best there's no reason to try to get the new stuff.

I'll add. Because of the absurdity of rng you can waste tons of time trying to get something only to have that time become wasted because rather than release compelling content to hold attention is of the gamers bungee has to move the goalposts every few months and manufacture reasons to play, manufacture grind: re leveling.

But instead they've made it so there's really no reason to do 35 poe. There's nothing worth getting out of it. They need to make older stuff become obsolete at some point or else the game will flame out. It happens in all gear/loot based games at some point, if you don't like that than perhaps this isn't the kind of game you should be playing.

For example the bigger problem with Poe is it isn't fun to play period. That the rewards suck is the icing on the crap cake. That's all of destiny's issue. I played mw2 for fun not cause I got some gun. I had all the guns in a week. I played for 2 years. That the game may die without constantly moving the goal posts by adding guns and raising artificial armor light level to me shows just how lacking the game is. And it's not a hamster wheel that I find enjoyable. Fine others do but it's not my cup of tea. And trust me I LONG ago concluded that Destiny is NOT the game for me. It's not the style of game for me. I still play and I just enjoy it for what it is and quit when I get bored. I also only have like one game lol so I play what I got. But no it's not for me. And the "grind" that some people like I hated. I get that that's kinda a goal of destiny: to make players grind. Fine, but that is why I know this game will like not be for me long term.

Because lots of people in shooters are perfectly fine with just a few guns in the game. They want balanced multiplayer. They are in the game for the gameplay of the shooter not for an endless quest for gear.

I want better weapons. However, that has not happened yet. I use the best weapons I can. For example Fatebringer is an amazing weapon due to its base stats and perks. If a weapon was better though, I would be using it. There is a difference between providing better weapons and making worse weapons seem better by forcing the better weapons to be obsolete

I think the main issue was how well they made the vog gear, they're too good. It makes it tough to actually make anything better without making then too op

True story hard to beat Fatebringer, VoC, foil, or verdict. All are definitely in the top of their weapon types.
