It's really not an MMO though. Bungie made the game... I'm pretty sure they know better than a couple of preteens who thinks that having played WoW for a couple of hours makes them some... kind... of... veteran? It's laughable anyhow. Destiny is an open world FPS. /topic http://destiny.wikia.com/wiki/Destiny Look under "Genre" and you'll see for yourself.

MMO: Massive Multiplayer Online. A classic sign of an MMO is the need to link up with other players to explore/conquer certain aspects of the game. Which is a huge part of Destiny mind you. Bungie can say whatever they want, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. Must be a duck. Lastly, Bungie has said on multiple occasions they asked WoW and multiple other MMO games for advice on different topics. (Biggest consensus was to never implement a trade system by the way). You don't go to the world leaders in a topic and ask for advice you don't need...

Which is a huge part of Destiny mind you.
What you're describing is any online game- not an MMO. What's massive about Destiny's multiplayer? The tower? Oh... So... Battlefield 4 is an MMOFPS? (lmfao, no it isn't and Destiny isn't even close to an MMO)
Bungie can say whatever they want, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. Must be a duck.
Except Destiny walks and barks like a dog, yet you still confuse it with a duck. Must be retarded. What, so IF Bungie asked a world leading developer for advice, it automatically makes it the same genre as the developers of that particular game? That's not even remotely close to how it works. Btw, provide a source for the last hunk of bs.

  • You're a guardian in real life? You are playing the role of 1 of 3 classes, each of which has 2 (soon to be 3) subclasses. Each class/subclass can be built to fit an individual playstyle. There are quest lines to follow (albeit short for the time being). Again if you're a warlock, hunter or titan in real life just let me know
