Day 1 player here who bought the Destiny Limited Edition which came with access to the next two DLCs for free. Due to personal reasons I haven't played Destiny since the first DLC. However my situation is changing and from what I'm hearing about TKK I think I will be back. I do agree with the general sentiment that this first year feels like it was a year long beta and now things are shaping up to what they should have been to begin with. However, we have alot of memories and stories to tell and its not only because of the great people we've played with but also because of the various blunders from Bungie. I know that many feel the last two DLCs were a bit lackluster and also due to the lies from Bungie about the vanilla game, many are skeptical about TKK. I'm excited about the possibilities but bracing myself for a let down. I'm also looking forward to playing with my old buddies and meeting the new year 2 newbs. What about you guys?
