People want variety. Closing off the old weapons to make room for the new isn't the answer. The answer is to make the new as good as the old so we WANT to change.

This...give me the ability to add elemental damage to any primary and I'll gladly drop FB/VoC/etc... Continue to make non-elemental primaries and people will continue to go back to the raid/ToO weapons strictly because end game content pretty much "requires" it. I say requires because no one wants to sit and hammer away at a captain with a kinetic primary...it's a waste of time..
