Comparing the Dames of Destiny to a fictional "Black Panthers of Destiny" is a false equivalency. It seems like you are upset because a group like Dames of Destiny exists in the first place.
You talked about living in reality earlier. The reality is that female gamers are treated like shit because a large part of the gaming community is comprised of immature shithead boys. That is why groups like Dames of Destiny exists in the first place.
"But Bungie shouldn't promote a group that doesn't allow men, that is sexist." I have seen that argument a lot. I disagree. Some of the lesser members of this community have already thoroughly demonstrated why groups like the Dames exist. About Bungie promoting them? I don't have a problem with that either.
Let's say someone had a younger sister or daughter that was 12 to 16 years old and loved to play Destiny. The problem is that none of her friends play the game and if she wants to experience some the end game content like raids she has to rely on things like LFG. The overwhelming majority of Destiny players are male, and every time she goes to LFG to find a group she has a good chance of ending in a group with at least one asshole (or more) who inevitably end up harassing her. As a result she doesn't want to do that end game content because it just isn't worth the hassle. Now she sees the Dame featured on Bungie.net. There is a group that she can join that will allow her to enjoy end game content without having to be worried about being harassed by assholes. Is there really a problem with that?
