After taking the time to read this long and heartfelt rage-post, I've come to the conclusion that you and people like you are whiney children. Bungie did what they did and will continue to do what they do because they are the professionals. The VoG gear is just too powerful overall to be carried over the (planned) next 10 years. that's their mistake. And what do they do about it? They follow suit with the genre it is trying to portray. If you can't get past that, have fun trying to a Level 50 Oryx with you silly little 365 Fatebringer! (Though an interesting challenge it may be) (YOUTUBE THAT SHIT)

Translated: The devs just failed so hard that they couldn't figure out new creative ways to implement newer weapons that would be just as interested if not cooler compared to the old ones. As such, the new stuff can't stand on its own merit, just like the Dark Below all over again. Its ok, half a year later when they add something similar to Etheric Light, I'm sure someone (not me) will be there telling you "That guy Malphisto told ya so." =P We've already been through this whole shebang one time with the first DLC. Ya'll were wrong before and you're still wrong now.
