Yes you have freedom of speech but you don't get that freedom with out consequences
English
-
What? No Freedom means that we're allowed to whatever we want and when we want without repercussions. Only exceptions are threats against another or terrorism.
-
No you don't have free speech on public forums or even on private property, you can be removed for foul language or anything else they want to remove you for.
-
Yes, true, but on a Twitch stream or any other public place, you cannot be charged. Only removed lawfully
-
That's not freedom of speech, people don't seem to understand what exactly freedom of speech is and ru mm their mouths because they just believe they can do what they want when they want.
-
Lol, you seriously haven't read the constitution, have you? Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
-
Apparently you haven't, because it says congress, which is the government, not private entities which can remove you from playing, interacting, being on premises or being affiliated in any way of you say the word Dog if they please.
-
Apparently you don't understand government. If Congress can't do it, neither can a private entity. Congress supersedes it, and by your manner of thinking, you're acting as though a private entity can act in its own way irregardless of the country's federal law. Not even states can do that. A private entity? Really?

Edited by SNC B Chill: 8/6/2015 6:37:18 PMOh so if a family oriented gym removes you for swearing like the YMCA or these forums ban you for derogatory speak, they aren't legally allowed to do that I guess and they're breaking the law!! Oh gosh! Not you have no clue what you're talking about.
-
Edited by xNyasha: 8/7/2015 2:20:50 PMNo, retard, the way you phrased it was pathetic, at best. You made it seem as though private entities can supersede constitutional laws. Yes, they have the right to actually ban specific language under federal law. I never said they didn't. I just stated they couldn't ignore federal law as a response to your comment. The way you pick apart technicalities in the first amendment is childish, as many self-respecting people knowledgeable on the idea would think. "Can't curse in a store? No freedom of speech!"
-
Yes super childish when the first word in your argument is calling me a "retard" you're so eloquent in your argument, by the way.....muted.
-
I ❤ you
-
Lol. :*
-
Let's be friends :)
-
Sure, if you're on PlayStation. Tried getting people to play with me yesterday but my friend's list is kinda ridiculous. Why add me if you won't play with me?
-
I'll play with you. And yeah I'm on playstation just add me. Same as my username.
-
No as long as your freedom of speech harms someone emotionally or psychologically then you can be punished
-
When has it been that someone has ever been arrested for hurting someone else's feelings?
-
Example: I can't be a manager, hire a new employee, then say, "welcome to the team, n*gger." And expect not to be held legally liable or responsible by saying, "hey, freedom of speech, man." Genius

Edited by Ghost593835: 8/6/2015 2:54:49 AMSo you support censorship
-
No I'm just saying that some of the things that were not legal such -blam!- threats
-
Edited by Ghost593835: 8/6/2015 3:00:33 AMWell yeah threats are bad. Then we have trash talking. Calling someone a fag for beating them. That's different
-
They weren't calling the Dames fags they were sending the Dames Ràpe threats and even death threats which are all illegal
-
I said threats are bad
-
I know but you acted like people were calling them fags
